A learning platform that runs live AI cohorts
Our own learning platform for AI Literacy Academy, which teaches practical AI skills in live cohorts. It replaced a WordPress course site and handles lessons, projects, payments, live sessions and certificates.

Before
The situation
- Students, orders and progress lived in a WordPress course plugin.
- Each cohort was set up as a separate course, which made cohort management awkward.
- Enrolment, project review and other cohort tasks needed too much manual work.
What we built
One system for the whole operation
- 01Courses, cohorts and weekly modules, with lessons released on a schedule and progress tracked.
- 02Project briefs with rubrics, student submissions and a facilitator review queue.
- 03Self-service checkout with Paystack and Flutterwave, including instalments and discount codes.
- 04Live session schedules, cohort Zoom rooms and replay imports.
- 05Certificates in three tiers, with public verification.
- 06A cohort community feed, leaderboard and badges.
- 07A scoped API and MCP bridge, so AI tools can work with the platform without admin passwords.
- 08An AI sandbox where students practise prompts.
Where AI does the work
Students practise in a built-in AI sandbox, and a blog agent can research and draft articles for staff to review before publishing.
On the record
- Moved 1,207 user accounts, 1,158 enrolments and 46,577 lesson progress records from the old WordPress site, with payment records matching the source exactly.
