Before
The situation
- Sales, payments and stock were tracked across a till app and a large spreadsheet workbook.
- Customers often paid before or after they collected eggs, so it was hard to see whose money was still unused.
- Bank, cash, card (POS) and stock were checked by hand at the end of each day.
- Cracked and lost eggs were hard to separate from honest sales.
What we built
One system for the whole operation
- 01A morning bank statement upload (CSV, Excel or a Google Sheet link) that suggests which customer each line belongs to.
- 02Customer ledgers that show every payment and sale, and flag customers who owe money past a set number of days.
- 03Sales and receipts priced from the item list, with stock tracked by egg batch and code.
- 04A one-way link to the shop's existing till app, so its receipts appear in the system within about a minute.
- 05End-of-day reconciliation for bank, cash, POS and egg stock, with a midday email alert when a day is still open.
- 06A blind egg count: shop staff count good and cracked crates without seeing the expected number. Only the owner sees the difference.
- 07Reports on sales, gross profit, payment channels, customers, farms and egg quality, with CSV export.
- 08Roles and permissions, so each staff member sees only the work they are responsible for.
Where AI does the work
An assistant answers questions from the app's own data, posts alerts such as overdue balances or missed reconciliations, and can only propose a change that a person confirms twice.
